We are looking for an energetic and positive person to handle the dishes and help out with basic kitchen tasks at our restaurant at Vulkan, Oslo.

You need to be dedicated and have attention to details. We offer full training and there are possibilities for advancement for the right person.

As a dishwasher in our restaurant you are an integral part in the kitchen and responsible for maintaining cleanliness around the food area. This includes washing and sanitation of all flatware, glassware and china, food preparation to some extend and washing down part of the kitchen which includes the kitchen grill, floor and filters.

You will be working closely with the head chef, Prep and Line cooks and all front of house employees to ensure all dishes are properly washed, sanitized, and returned to service.

Skills:

• Keeps work areas, food storage areas, and garbage area clean and safe at all times.
• Assists in control of inventory and supplies, by not breaking dishes and handing all items properly.
• Reading and following department of health standards and food industry standards.
• Perform all other duties as required, including prep work or additional tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• Available to work nights, weekends and holidays.
• Physically strong with good endurance and tempo.
• Detail oriented and able to maintain a high standard of cleanliness.
• Follows instructions thoroughly.
• Knowledge of the industry and relevant health and safety regulations.
• Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks.
• Ability to maintain a clean station.
