Villa Paradiso is on the lookout for a passionate Head Chef to helm our kitchen brigade.
The ideal candidate will have an authentic interest and fervent connection with Italian gastronomy. You should hold yourself to high standards and strive tirelessly to provide excellent dining experiences. A positive attitude, a solution-focused approach, and strong teaching abilities are key.
Villa Paradiso prides itself on being an authentic pizzeria featuring a wood-fired oven and serving Neapolitan-style pizzas, along with a variety of dishes that showcase our passion for Italian food.
Since the opening of our first restaurant in 2004, we have expanded to six locations and continue to grow. With direct imports of Italian wines, cured meats, and cheeses, we boast a fine selection and access to premium ingredients. Our drive comes from a passion for simple, hearty, and seasonal fare, and we seek individuals eager to share in this passion.
Our restaurant boasts an open kitchen layout, promoting direct interaction between the waitstaff and customers, which necessitates our staff to be affable and have excellent social skills.
Qualifications:
- Must possess relevant experience in a comparable role (pizzeria, restaurant).
- A passion for Italian cuisine and familiarity with Neapolitan pizza.
- Must be methodical and well-organized.
- Should be inquisitive, keen to learn, and adaptable.
- Proficiency in speaking and understanding either Scandinavian or English is required.
- Should exhibit team spirit, dependability, and respect for colleagues.
The ideal candidate must be capable of initiating tasks and motivating colleagues to follow suit.
Responsibilities include:
- Implementing IK food (food safety management).
- Training newcomers in the kitchen.
- Overseeing the maintenance of kitchen equipment.
- Guaranteeing consistent quality of food and its delivery.
- Promoting efficient economic operations via staff planning.
- Ensuring accurate cost of goods delivery.
- Exemplifying leadership and teamwork to foster cooperation and a positive work environment.

Om Villa Paradiso Majorstua
Da vi reiste til Napoli i 2003 hadde vi ingen anelse om at vi skulle komme hjem med både en pizzaovn og en italiensk kokk. Vi ble stormforelsket i den italienske matkulturen og turen ble starten på en helt fantastisk reise.
Året etter åpnet vi dørene til Villa Paradiso på Grünerløkka i Oslo. Siden den gang har det blitt en nabolagsrestaurant som har servert tusentalls av napolitanske pizzaer og andre italienske retter til nære og kjære, restauranten har blitt et kulturikon for italiensk matkultur.
Forelskelsen vår har utviklet seg til dyp kjærlighet for den italienske matkulturen og turene til Napoli har blitt mange. Lidenskapen vår har blitt så sterk at vi har gjort det til vår visjon å bringe den videre, slik at flere kan oppleve hva napolitansk pizza og autentisk italiensk matkultur har å by på. Vi vil at flere skal trekke inn den uslåelige lukten av stekt pizzabunn, mozzarella og tomatsaus som siver ut av en vedovn og inn i et lokale som er fylt av summing og stemmer fra forventningsfulle mennesker, som er sulte på både pizza og livet.
