About Villa Paradiso
When we traveled to Naples in 2003, we had no idea that we would return home with both a pizza oven and an Italian chef. We fell head over heels in love with Italian food culture, and that trip marked the beginning of an incredible journey.
The following year, we opened the doors to Villa Paradiso in Grünerløkka, Oslo. Since then, it has become a neighborhood restaurant, serving thousands of Neapolitan pizzas and other Italian dishes to family and friends. The restaurant has grown into a cultural icon for Italian cuisine.
Our initial infatuation has blossomed into a deep love for Italian food culture, and our trips to Naples have been many. Our passion has grown so strong that we’ve made it our vision to share it with others, so more people can experience the wonders of Neapolitan pizza and authentic Italian culinary traditions. We want more people to take in the unbeatable smell of crispy pizza crust, mozzarella, and tomato sauce wafting from a wood-fired oven into a space filled with the hum of voices and the anticipation of guests, hungry for both pizza and life.
