Job Description: As a Technical Performance Support Associate in the Navtor Technical Performance team, your role involves addressing critical technical issues to ensure the uninterrupted service delivery of the Technical Performance Team.
The Performance team at Navtor deals with emissions and compliance, and performance analysis for vessels worldwide. Navtor, as the world’s market leader in e-navigation solutions, also provides deep insights and actionable intelligence to vessels and shore-side decision makers. Your role would be an integral part of Navtor’s vision “Smart Shipping made easy”. Supporting the team with technical assistance requires a flexible mind-set and varied skill set.
A willingness and ability to learn is a must.
Requirements:
A minimum of four years experience in an independent role.
The tech stack is Python, C#, Angular, Blazer and Mongo. Experience and skills with C# and python are a must. Additional experience with anything else of the stack is a significant bonus.
Experience from the marine domain is a plus.
Bachelor's degree in data science, programming, or similar educational background.
Demonstrate your ability to solve complex problems involving numerous stakeholders.
Strong coordination and communication skills, especially in dealing with stakeholders. This is a role that requires people skills.
Responsibilities:
Development and maintenance of the system that automates data checks for vessel performance metrics.
Development of supporting tools that aid in increased automation such as data validation, analysis, and onboarding.
Assist the technical performance team with critical errors, login issues, system malfunctions, and data discrepancies.
Act as a liaison between the technical performance team and the Navtor development teams world-wide to ensure effective communication, prioritization and resolution of issues across timezones and cultures.
Handle ad hoc development requests requiring immediate attention, ensuring prompt resolution.
