Short description of the role & team:
We are looking for a Collections Specialist, located in Egersund.
As a Collections Specialist at NAVTOR, you will join an international team of highly talented and motivated people, supporting them in debt collection. Our team in Egersund consists of 10 people who work in different areas within Finance and collaborate with ~40 Finance colleagues in our offices around the world.
Collections Specialist Job Duties:
Monitor accounts to identify overdue payments
Investigate historical data for each debt or invoice
Maintain contact with customers to help them make timely payments
Develop repayment plans
Update account status records and collection efforts
Report on collection activity and accounts receivable status
Resolve customer issues and complaints concerning invoicing
Perform ad hoc analysis as required by management
Provide day-to-day support to senior management
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, or related field
Working knowledge of MS Office and databases
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Ability to work independently.
Teamwork and strategic thinking
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Fluent in English and Norwegian, both verbally and written
