The position
Do you have experience from a bakery or kitchen, enjoy working in a structured way, and have an eye for detail? Do you take pride in creating food for special occasions like weddings, baptisms and confirmations - while also keeping things running smoothly day to day? Then you might be the one we're looking for!
In this role, you'll help prepare high quality food for catering and events, as well as assemble and stock display counters for the Café. We're looking for someone who takes pride in their craft, and understands that both flavors and presentation matter.
We want someone with a true passion for food, a strong work ethic, and the ability to thrive in a varied workday - from early morning deliveries to customized catering orders.

Minimum Requirements
Minimum 2 years experience from kitchen or catering.
Knowledge for HACCP and hygiene best practices
Proficiency in Scandinavian and/or English
Valid work permit in the EU/EØS
Driving license class B (Manuel)

ABOUT US
We are Ola and Lars Berbusmel, two brothers with a genuine passion for food. Ola is the baker, and Lars is the chef. We grew up with our dad’s fishing trips, our mom’s homemade bread, our grandmother’s amazing fish gratin, and our grandfather’s layered cream cakes.
Our philosophy is simple: We love local dishes and ingredients, clean flavors, and blending traditional and modern techniques.
For us, local food is a matter of the heart. We believe that locally sourced food tastes better and also gives back to the community. That’s why we work closely with local producers to ensure fresh, sustainable ingredients—and to help preserve and develop the traditions we hold so dear.
BAKERY AND DELICATESSEN
In the fall of 2018, we opened our own artisan bakery with a café and delicatessen right in the town square of Bodø. It’s a cozy place where you can enjoy a cup of coffee, host lunch meetings, or pick up something special for the weekend.
We put our heart into our craft, focusing on quality and local ingredients. Our breads are baked with just a few carefully selected ingredients and given plenty of time to rise—because we know that good things take time.
In our delicatessen, you’ll find products we love to use ourselves—from cured meats and cheeses to oils, vinegars, and fresh meat. We handpick the best to make your meals truly special.
CATERING
We offer catering for both small and large occasions. Whether it’s a wedding, christening, confirmation, meeting or event, a tapas night with friends, or office catering, we have something for you.
Our menus reflect the season and what we believe is best right now. Everything is made from scratch, using local ingredients and suppliers wherever possible.
